A Cleveland State University student has filed a police report after discovering two swastika-like drawings on campus.
CSU student Jennifer Joseph filed a criminal mischief report with the CSU Police Department on Feb. 24. According to the report, Joseph noticed graffiti on the fourth floor of the university’s Main Classroom building on Feb. 10.
Jill Ross, the Cleveland metro director for the Cleveland Hillel Foundation, and Adena Muskin, a program associate for Cleveland Hillel, accompanied Joseph during her meeting with CSU police.
Kevin Ziegler, director of strategic communications at CSU, said the university has a policy of cleaning graffiti within 24 hours of a report being filed.
“CSU police are investigating the incident and anyone determined to be responsible for it will be held accountable,” Ziegler said.
