The David Horowitz Freedom Center has said over and over again that Students for Justice in Palestine is a terrorist group. That became all the more obvious after Oct 7 when the campus hate group’s chapters endorsed the attacks and one recently supported the firebombs thrown at elderly Jewish people marching for the release of the hostages in Boulder, Colorado.
Now, federal authorities are taking action and 8 ‘students’ associated with the radical movement are under indictment.
A federal grand jury indicted eight people associated with the University of Michigan for allegedly being involved in conspiracies to threaten university leaders, law enforcement officials and businesses.
Members of the group lived, worked and/or attended school locally and targeted victims by using social media platforms linked to UM student groups, including the former Students Allied for Freedom and Equality (the University of Michigan’s chapter of “Justice in Palestine”) and the pro-divestment Tahrir Coalition, according to the government.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Michigan said the actions under investigation included threats against the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit. The investigation involved authorities in Michigan, Illinois and Wisconsin.
Those named in the indictment are Zainab Aliasgar Hakim, 23, of Canton, Michigan; Amatullah Aliasgar Hakim, 21, of Ann Arbor, Michigan; Paige Elizabeth Feyock, 26, of Ann Arbor, Michigan; Ahmet Kerem Korkaya, 28, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Jonathan Hongru Zou, 22, of Ann Arbor, Michigan; Alexander Matthew Sepulveda, 23, of Chicago, Illinois; Mariam Muhammed Odeh, 24, of Dearborn, Michigan; and Colin Hunter Weger, 24, of Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Some of the details are ugly and look a whole lot like Islamic terrorism.
They also discussed methods by which to harm the targets and their families, including poison, bombs, and psychological torture. For example, on May 21, 2024, Feyock and then-medical student Korkaya agreed to “kill,” “torment,” and “terrorize” their targets and families. Referring to one victim, Korkaya stated his “entire family” was on his “hit list” Feyock added that they should “get” the “kids” of two victims. Korkaya, referring to another victim, stated, “I’m gonna be the dirtiest f——- doctor ever / I’m gonna be [victim’s] doctor / poison her a– slowly.” Feyock agreed, “We need people following [victim] / get into that house then burn it down.”
The target there was President Santa Ono.
A key part of that exchange left out here, but which appears in the full indictment, is religious and highlights the underlying motive for all this.
AHMET KEREM KORKAYA (medical student at the time)
KORKAYA: wallah [by Allah] paige wanna do something the only way to clear my conscious sic
KORKAYA: wallah [by Allah] I’m gonna be the dirtiest fucking doctor ever I’m gonna be doctor poison her ass slowly
FEYOCK: We need people following get into that house then burn it down
These were never protests. This was Islamic terrorism merged with Marxist terrorism.
During the encampment the defendants and unindicted conspirators used the internet to warn their opposition that we look to our martyrs and freedom fighters for guidance … the student intifada will never be silenced The defendants aspired to achieve the acclaim of the 1960s domestic terrorist organization Weather Underground
This was terrorism all along.
